I have checked both September and October Vogue Nippon issue and there are no tribute editorials to MJ, maybe they are planning it for November? Or maybe it was other Vogue, not Japanese?
So I just found your blog while searching for these set of pictures ( I LOVE this photoshoot) and just wanted to tell you it's awesome, already bookmarked it :D
It's no surprise that Michael Jackson had not only a great influence in music and dance, but in fashion as well. He didn't follow the trends, he created them. The original skinny jeans wearer, the hipster before hipsters even appeared, inventor of the clothes mullet, and obviously the infamous Balmain spring 2009 comeback owes it to the King of Pop. Fierceness at it's fullest.
These are awesome. Much better than Agyness', imo. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteHey... I read somewhere that Vogue Nippon had also put out a tribute, do you know anything about it? I can't find any pics online.
